Since we held our community events in July last year we have been working hard on developing our plans for 18 Blackfriars Road, in close consultation with planning officers at Southwark Council. We have also carried out a number of pop-up events around the site to hear the local community’s views on the community themes for 18 Blackfriars Road.

We’re excited to share our latest plans for 18 Blackfriars Road along with free food, music and wellbeing activities for all the family at our upcoming community events:

Thursday 18 May 

4pm-8pm

18 Blackfriars Road Community Evening 

The first opportunity to find out more about our proposals for the site will be taking place on Thursday 18 May. Come along to view our latest plans, chat to the project team and enjoy a free yoga session or a free massage!

Saturday 20 May

10am-1pm 

18 Blackfriars Road Community Fun Day 

As well as the chance to view our proposals for the site, we are also hosting a Community Fun Day, with lots of free activities to be enjoyed by all the family:

• Yoga sessions
• Massages
• Cooking demonstrations 
• Coffee 
• Face painting 
• Plant pot painting
• Seed giveaway 
• Live music 

Both events will take place at London Nautical School, 61 Stamford Street, SE1 9NA
